Dub in Dublin, Glass in Glasgow

In Ireland they have little green men everywhere telling you when it is safe to cross.

They also have big green men selling you cell phones.

Big red men sell you beer.
Big blue men sell you America!

And these stone faced giants tell you to get to class on time at Trinity College.

We took a look around the campus which was full of the standard college hustle. It made me miss my time at Hogwarts.

Slytherin has a very nice field.
and in Dublin luxury condos are an incedious pestilence as well as the pop up and dwarf the medieval castles.

Trinity College was rather cool.

The bleeding horse.

The biggest surprise of the day was discovering Morrissey's family Butchers. You can get all sorts of meat. Moz himself was serving up slabs of flank and shepard's pie. After this double decker bus crashed into us. We tailed it out or Ireland.

They built a greek temple outside of travel lodge. Praise Athena or Zeus

The drive to Scottland was super awesome.

humpbak Whales to Ireland

We arrived in Cardiff City in Whales. The had lots of Castles.
Whales is kind of like England except different.
They have litter.

and towers. They may not have wireless internet but they have tours with lots of satalites. They must be for the football on the tele.

After leaving Whales we are heading to IrelandThe weather seemed to improve and the terrain began to look like braveheart.

A proper Full English breakfast consists of eggs, bacon, sausage, baked beans, fried tomato and fried bread. A proper Irish breakfast has all of the above plus black pudding. There is a hot debate of whether there really is a difference on Wikipedia.

The rolling countrysideWe took a fairy over to Ireland.

In the UK they live in the stone age.

Before leaving, it was a sad goodbye. I miss you all already!

We are traveling in a splitter van. We sit around a table in the middle of the van while our gear rests in the back.

The internet is a rare commodity in the UK. typically you have to pay 5 pounds an hour, which coming from the US where the internet is free and everywhere. In the UK most places don't have internet. They refer to their phones as 'mobiles' but these devices don't get service anywhere. The people in this country have the same connectivity as people in the US circa 1999.

But there is one thing they do have an abundance of...
statues
The people here spend lots of time at bars because there is no internet. There is no reason to leave the bars because there is nothing else available to them for entertainment.
This is a strange and wild country. You wouldn't think that if you went to an Irish Pub in south England that they would primarily be serving Jack Daniels and Heineken.

At night the people here like to party. We go on typically at 10 pm as the rock concert is just the precursor to the night on the town of dance music. Even when its freezing cold out the girls all wear cocktail dresses and heels. It is sad, the plight of the English, so impovereshed that they can't afford to wear coats in 20 degree weather. These girls just stand in groups everywhere shivering. It seems quite unpleasant. Bono should do a rescue mission to help these people.
The UK is full of international cuisine.
You can get Chinese beer, Indian beer, Thai beer, and even Italian beer. In Nottingham you can even get beer from 1189 AD

Montreal and home to NYC!

As we pulled into Montreal, we decided it would be a good idea to display our American Pride with a little help from the Boss.

We kept a USA guide book to help us find good eats from city to city. In Montreal this wasn't much help. Getting back to the US border we had a surprisingly easy time making it through customs.

Northern New York is pretty cool.
But not nearly as cool as watching a descending helicopter.I wasn't sure where we were, but the thing that is best about the USA is the neon signs everywhere telling you where you are at.

Also the school buses that make you think everyone is having fun on whe.
