In the UK they live in the stone age.

Before leaving, it was a sad goodbye. I miss you all already!

We are traveling in a splitter van. We sit around a table in the middle of the van while our gear rests in the back.

The internet is a rare commodity in the UK. typically you have to pay 5 pounds an hour, which coming from the US where the internet is free and everywhere. In the UK most places don't have internet. They refer to their phones as 'mobiles' but these devices don't get service anywhere. The people in this country have the same connectivity as people in the US circa 1999.

But there is one thing they do have an abundance of...

The people here spend lots of time at bars because there is no internet. There is no reason to leave the bars because there is nothing else available to them for entertainment.
This is a strange and wild country. You wouldn't think that if you went to an Irish Pub in south England that they would primarily be serving Jack Daniels and Heineken.

At night the people here like to party. We go on typically at 10 pm as the rock concert is just the precursor to the night on the town of dance music. Even when its freezing cold out the girls all wear cocktail dresses and heels. It is sad, the plight of the English, so impovereshed that they can't afford to wear coats in 20 degree weather. These girls just stand in groups everywhere shivering. It seems quite unpleasant. Bono should do a rescue mission to help these people.
The UK is full of international cuisine.
You can get Chinese beer, Indian beer, Thai beer, and even Italian beer. In Nottingham you can even get beer from 1189 AD
